Portrait of Adam Hunt

Adam Hunt is an anaesthetist in London and a PhD student at UCL's Research Department of Targeted Intervention, focusing on the development of interventions addressing intersectional disadvantage in perioperative care, including as part of the NIHR-funded HIPPOCRATES programme.

He was previously a clinical research fellow at the Royal College of Anaesthetists' Centre for Research and Improvement and an honorary research fellow at UCL, and before that a Kennedy Scholar at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, working on qualitative research into digital health technology in low-resource settings.

His research centres on operationalising routine clinical data to understand variation in the quality and equity of care, and on translating those findings into practice.
